PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Monroe Hotel project renovates an existing Miami Beach property into an 89-room boutique hotel with dining, a rooftop bar, and pool amenities. Efficient heating and cooling, LED lighting, water-saving fixtures, and impact-resistant windows will improve building performance and resilience. The redevelopment will support hospitality employment and visitor spending while revitalizing an existing property.
LOCAL IMPACT
Renovation and adaptive reuse of an existing Collins Avenue property supports Miami Beach’s hospitality economy. Reinvestment in the building maintains its productive commercial use and strengthens the area’s existing lodging infrastructure.
FINANCING AT WORK
As part of the hotel renovation, the property owner accessed long-term financing through FDFC’s C-PACE program for qualifying improvements. The financing supports modernized building systems designed to improve efficiency and help manage ongoing operating expenses.
