Recent Closing Highlight: Treasure Coast Food Bank

We are excited to announce a recent closing and major expansion project for Treasure Coast Food Bank (TCFB), a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1993. TCFB is affiliated with Feeding America, one of the largest national food bank and non-profit food distribution organizations in the United States. This project represents a significant milestone in TCFB's mission to combat hunger and food insecurity in the Treasure Coast region.

TCFB is headquartered in Fort Pierce and serves a 4-county area, which includes St. Lucie, Indian River, Martin, and Okeechobee counties. As a vital resource for the community, TCFB plays a crucial role in providing essential food assistance to those in need. The expansion project will allow TCFB to better fulfill its mission by increasing its capacity and efficiency in food distribution.

Key Project Details:

Bond Issuance: This project involves a private placement bond issuance of $22 million.

Expansion: The project will facilitate a significant expansion of TCFB's food distribution facilities.

Impact: The expanded facilities will have a far-reaching impact on the community, enabling TCFB to provide more food to individuals and families in need.

Job Growth: The project is expected to create approximately 50 new jobs. These jobs will not only contribute to the local economy but also play a vital role in expanding the organization's ability to serve the community.

Community Benefits: As a result of this project, TCFB will be better equipped to serve its 4-county service area, ensuring that more individuals and families have access to nutritious food and vital resources.
